Bio: Miles Ladin

Miles Ladin is a photographer based in New York City and London specializing in events, candid portraiture and social commentary.
His sardonic investigations of the rich & famous have graced the pages of international publications such as Harper's Bazaar, Fortune, Vibe, Der Spiegel, Morgunbladid, and Tatler.
From 1993-94, Ladin regularly photographed the weekly Sunday column “The Night” for The New York Times' Styles Section. From 1995-96, Ladin created the reoccurring photographic pictorial “Paparazzi” for W Magazine. In 1996, George Magazine commissioned him to collaborate with author Norman Mailer in documenting the American political conventions and presidential campaign trail.
Corporate clients have included Giorgio Armani, Hermes, and Crunch Fitness. In 2000, an advertising campaign for Powerize.com created for Margeotis & Associates was awarded the Grand CEBA Best Campaign Award. His on-air campaign for Comedy Central Television won a 2003 Promax Broadcasting Design Award.
In 2009, The Wolfsonian Museum in Miami Beach, Florida commissioned and exhibited Sun Stroke Stimulus, a contemporary portrait of "bathing culture". Currently, Ladin's work can be seen in his twice yearly coverage of New York's Fashion Week for WWD-The Magazine.
